Basic Gift Wrapping

Are you one of those people who wait in line just to have their gift wrap?

No need for long lines at the gift wrapping sections, because I am about to teach you how to wrap your own gifts. Besides, it feels good to wrap them up!

What we need?
  • Gift Wrappers
  • Scotch Tape
  • Scissors

How to do it?
1.      Put the cover around your gift or put your gift on top of the wrapper, to make sure it fits.

If one wrapper isn't enough combine two wrappers together like this:

2.      Measure all sides to make sure the wrapper fits. Cut extra sides, but make sure that when you cut the sides, the gift will still fit the wrapper.

3.      Put the box on top of the wrapper and fold the wrapper covering half of your gift, then tape it. Do the same on the other side.

4.      Push the excess wrapper on top while folding it into the part where it was taped. Giving a design like this.

5.      Now, we’re doing the sides of your gift. Fold the side wrappers going in and tape them like this.

6.      Then fold the bottom wrapper going in and then the top wrapper taping them all together.

7.      Do the same thing on the other side. And we’re done!

How to put the gift card?
1.       Turn it upside down. Tape the part where the fold is located, like this:

2.       Roll a tape and put it on the other side of the card.

3.       Turn the card following the first tape as guide.

You can also add laces or ribbons if you want; at least the basic gift wrap is done for you.
Easy peasy, isn’t it?

Hope you enjoyed my wrapping session here at versatile gift ideas!
