Christmas is fast approaching! I can hear Christmas carols
everywhere! Weeee!
Did you know that the Philippines is known to have the
longest Christmas Season? Yeah, it starts on “-ber” months (September to be exact) and ends after
the feast of the Three Kings (which is
January). On those times, you can already hear Christmas Carols – may it be
on the radio, television, malls, etc.
Also, Philippines is known with the tradition of giving “Aguinaldo”
(giving gifts or money) during
Christmas to every child who comes knocking at every door while wailing “namamasko
po!” Yeah, this applies to everyone, because that’s the spirit of Christmas in
the Philippines --- GIVING.
