There are only 20 days left before Christmas! Yeah, time flies really fast these days, I can’t wait to distribute my gifts.

Are you done with your Christmas Shopping? Just in case you’re not yet done, you might want to take a peek with my Christmas gift ideas. For now, I’ll be giving you gift ideas ranging 150php and below. There are lots of things you can buy with 150php, but I’ll still show you some of my gifts.

Here are my gift ideas for adults:
1. Card Wallet (price starts at 80php)

This is very useful to adults, a place for their identification and credit cards. When choosing a card wallet make sure it is secured, because important cards are to be placed here.

2. Couple Key Chain (price starts at 75php)

This is a cute gift for adult especially for couples you knew. There are lots of couple key chains in the market like half-hearts, boy & girl, etc.

3. Scarf (price starts at 100php)

This is one safe gift for ladies. Almost every lady wears scarf, either it is for fashion or comfort’s sake; scarf is a yes!

4. Bag Organizer (price starts at 150php)

The first time I saw this at the market, I was amazed, this is exactly what I need. Isn’t it annoying to look inside your bag and see how messy it is, this is the answer to every girl’s problem. This is a unique gift and will be a sure win.

5. Pillow (price starts at 140php)

A pillow is one common gift, but a versatile pillow you can use as neck rest, lumbar support, floor pillow, chair cushion, etc. is wonderful.

You can also give them clothes, caps/hats, wallet, tie, organizer, books, novelties, etc.


In addition here are my gift ideas for kids:
1. Bath/Hygiene Set (price starts at 100php)

A hygiene set is lovely, this isn’t just a simple gift but it will also help your kids to learn proper hygiene. There are lots of novelty bath sets in the market nowadays, just to put a little spice on your gift.

2. Mini Fan (price starts at 80php)

I don’t know what’s with mini fans but kids love them. There are lots of mini fan designs available now in the market; you just have to choose which design they would love.

3. Stuff Toy (price starts at 100php)

A stuff toy is always a win for kids. It’s soft and fluffy and will surely make a kid smile, especially if it’s their favorite animal, character, etc.
Just make sure they don’t have asthma, coz it’ll be unsafe for them.

4. Diary (price starts at 125php)

A princess style or any girly diary is a sure win for little girls, especially if it’s pink. Girls love to keep track of their everyday stuffs, like crushes, school stuffs, etc.

5. Basket of Goodies (price starts at 150php)

A basket or box full of kiddie goodies like candies, chocolates, biscuits, etc. will surely lighten up their day. Kids love loot bags, surely they would love the goodies most especially.

You can also give them clothes, kiddie caps, toys, educational stuffs, bags, etc.

We all know that Christmas is fast approaching which means we need to shop for gifts as soon as now. And since I’m done with my Aguinaldo Ideas, I'll be now posting Christmas Gift Ideas you can give to your families and friends. 

Always take note that buying gifts will always depend on our budget and not your budget will depend on the gifts you will buy. (Just a friendly reminder! :))

For now, I’ll be giving you gift ideas ranging 50php and below. This doesn’t mean that you are stingy or anything, it simply means that no matter how much your budget is, you can still give various gifts for your families and friends. 

So here is gift idea list for adults:

This is one of the most common Christmas Gifts. It is simple, less expensive, but very useful, especially in the country where most of the people drink coffee. 

2. Desk Pad (price starts at 50php)

This is useful especially for office workers. They can just put it on their tables and they already have an easy jotter. 

3. Multi-Functional Key Chain (price starts at 40php)

This useful gift is a win for guys. Not just any other key chain it is an efficient and portable tools too.

4. Bags & Pouches (price starts at 40php)

This is the kind of gift that will never be out-of-style. This is one of the most common gifts but as long as it is cute and classy it will never go wrong.

There are lots of coin bank designs in the market; there are piggy, classic phone, yogurt bottle, ice cream, etc. Whatever design it may be, kids will surely love it. This is not just a gift, but this is also a simple way of teaching your kids to save for the future.

4. Hair Accessories for Girls (price starts at 25php)

Little girls looks good with their ponytails and clips, aren’t they? Little girls will surely love it because it will make them beautiful. Just don’t forget, it must be pink!

5. Bling Bling for Boys (price starts at 40php)

Boys nowadays are inclined to using accessories too. Since they saw it with their favorite celebrities, bling bling is now a wow for them.

Affordable Aguinaldo Ideas

As a Filipino tradition, we give aguinaldos to every person who comes knocking at our doors squealing “Namamasko po!” Yes, every one of them must have something. Every year, I prepare aguinaldos good for 300-400 people. And to be able to prepare that much aguinaldos we must think of something affordable yet will give a smile to someone.

So here are my affordable aguinaldo ideas:

1. Mini Toys (for as low as 5php)

Mini toys wrapped in a nice Christmas gift wrapper will surely draw a smile on their faces. No matter how much these toys cost, it is a sure win for them.

2. Candies/Chocolates (for as low as 5php per loot bag)

A pouch full of colorful and delectable candies, chocolates, biscuits, and wafers is a sure win for all; not just for kids but also for adults. But make sure you’ve got lots of them for they may come back and ask for some more!

3. Notepads (for as low as 10php)

Children loves writing and drawing in their notebooks, so giving them a notepad will surely light up their day. A notepad with cute cover of cartoon characters, flowers, toys etc. is a sure hit.

4. Cupcakes (for as low as 20php)

Baking cupcakes is also a wonderful thing; it is worth receiving too, because it was made by you. Colorful frosting and decoration is a plus excitement for them. But please don’t forget to pack it up nicely before distributing.

5. Face Towels (for as low as 6php)

Face towels is one of the very useful aguinaldo. They can use it to wipe their sweat, their hands, etc. A face towel with a cartoon character will make a hit.

Just like in my previous blog, erasers can be given as gifts especially when they are as cute as these erasers. I will surely grab one!

Every child loves stickers, especially if it is their favorite cartoon character. They would surely stick it on their notebooks, walls, cabinets, etc. somewhere they can usually see it and somewhere they can easily boast it with their friends.

You can give story books for some of the kids and activity books or coloring books for the younger ones. It is something that would educate and entertain them at the same time.

9. Purses (for as low as 8php)

Purses will be in-demand during these days because a lot of kids will surely receive money as their aguinaldos; so a purse where they can put all their aguinaldos is yes. A cartoon character designed purse is a plus!

10. Unique Kiddie Grubs (for as low as 10php)

Something unique and new to the eye is a sure hit. Yes, because anything new is always greatly desired even for a day.

There are many other ideas like cute pens, lotions, keychains, accessories, etc. are a sure hit. Just make sure you always wrap them with a Christmas gift wrapper to feel the season and to add excitement to the kids.

Tips to Avoid Christmas Stress

There are lots of things we need to prepare for Christmas - like gifts, decorations, foods, etc.  And if you forget any of this, you will surely be in trouble. As a result, you will need to rush to the mall and finish it in time for Christmas Eve.

Thus, I’ve got some tips that may help you to have a stress-free Christmas season.


1.      Have a checklist.

Have a checklist of your to-dos by category and create another checklist for your sub-category. You need to detail your list to remind yourself of the things you need to-do, so that you won’t miss any. Also, you’ll need to mark the things you’ve finished to refrain repetition of tasks.  For example,
___ Christmas Party
          ___ Food
          ___ Activities / Games
          ___ Game Prizes
          ___ Raffle Prizes
          ___ Others
___ Gifts
          ___ Hubby
          ___ Mom
          ___ Martin
          ___ Lexi

 2.       Start now.

Get rid of your “manyana habit” (will do it later habit). Start as early as now, so that you won’t need to rush afterwards. Get your checklist and see the things that you can do now – like shopping for Christmas gifts, wrapping gifts, writing Christmas card, buying prizes, decorating your home, etc. This will help you organize your activities in your extra time.

 3.       Buy gifts early.

You can start to buy your gifts anytime “as long as you have the budget”. A friend once told me that she buys her gifts every mall sale, even if it’s as early as January. She’ll then keep it in a storage box and distribute it on Christmas day. This practice helps her to save money and time on gift shopping.
NOTE: Don’t push yourself if you know that don’t have the money to buy gifts or it’ll make you more stressed over debts.

 4.       Schedule a Me Time.

Don’t forget to a lot time for yourself in between your activities. This is to help you relax, breath, and lessen your stress. A stress-free mindset can help you to enjoy your activities too. So don’t forget to have fun!

Christmas is fast approaching! I can hear Christmas carols everywhere! Weeee!

Did you know that the Philippines is known to have the longest Christmas Season? Yeah, it starts on “-ber” months (September to be exact) and ends after the feast of the Three Kings (which is January). On those times, you can already hear Christmas Carols – may it be on the radio, television, malls, etc.  

Also, Philippines is known with the tradition of giving “Aguinaldo” (giving gifts or money) during Christmas to every child who comes knocking at every door while wailing “namamasko po!” Yeah, this applies to everyone, because that’s the spirit of Christmas in the Philippines --- GIVING.
